The Indian National Congress has unveiled its new headquarters, “Indira Bhawan,” a structure symbolizing the party’s 140-year legacy of democracy, nationalism, secularism, inclusive development, and social justice.
Located in the heart of the capital, the building is designed to represent the party’s enduring commitment to truth, non-violence, sacrifice, struggle, and patriotism. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted that “Indira Bhawan” stands as a tribute to the values enshrined in the Congress’s rich history, with its walls narrating tales of pivotal moments in India’s freedom movement and democratic evolution.
The headquarters aims to serve as a modern space for political engagement while preserving the ideological essence of the party’s founding principles. It reflects the Congress’s ongoing pledge to uphold social equity and democratic governance in India.
This milestone marks a significant moment in the party’s history, reinforcing its vision for the nation’s future while paying homage to its past leaders and their sacrifices.
