Bhiwandi, Maharashtra – Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarasanghachalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat unfurled the National Flag on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day at Padmashri Annasaheb Jadhav Vidyalay in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The event was marked by patriotic fervor and the presence of numerous dignitaries, students, and local residents.
Dr. Bhagwat, addressing the gathering after the flag hoisting, emphasized the importance of unity, self-reliance, and adherence to constitutional values in building a strong and prosperous nation. He urged the citizens to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and work together towards the nation’s progress.
He further highlighted the significance of Republic Day as a moment to reflect on the journey of India as a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic. “It is not just a day of celebration but also an occasion to reaffirm our commitment to the values enshrined in the Constitution,” Dr. Bhagwat said.
The ceremony began with the National Anthem, followed by a cultural program organized by the students of the school. Performances depicting India’s struggle for independence and its vibrant cultural heritage captivated the audience.
Local leaders and members of the RSS participated in the event, appreciating the enthusiasm of the youth and the efforts of the school in organizing the celebration. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reiterating the collective resolve to work towards the nation’s development.
