NOTA Votes:
In the 2024 elections, a total of 63,71,839 votes (0.99%) were cast for NOTA (None of the Above), slightly lower than the 1.06% recorded in 2019. Among the voters, transgender individuals (third-gender voters) demonstrated a 27.09% voter turnout.
Polling Stations:
The number of polling stations increased from 10,37,848 in 2019 to 10,52,664 in 2024. Re-polling was required in only 40 polling stations, significantly lower than the 540 stations in 2019, accounting for just 0.0038% of total polling stations.

After scrutiny and withdrawal, 8,360 nominations were rejected, and candidates finalized for the election numbered slightly higher than in 2019, where 8,054 candidates contested.
Women’s Representation:
Among the 97,97,51,847 registered voters in 2024, 47,63,11,240 were women, making up 48.62% of the electorate, an increase from 48.09% in 2019 (43,85,37,911 women voters).
